George Scott on the move in Newmarket

George Scott is currently looking forward to taking the next step with a transfer to Eve Lodge Stables.
The 30-year-old has enjoyed four successful years from where he has a clutch of big-race winners – notably James Garfield, who won the 2017 Mill Reef Stakes and the 2018 Greenham.
He is currently set to transfer just a couple hundred yards into an 80-box yard which was Lester Piggott’s prior foundation along the Hamilton Road.
Scott explained:”I’m really excited about the opportunities that moving to Eve Lodge Stables provides us. The facilities will give us every chance to advance further after four years at Saffron House Stables and are excellent.
“We have grown considerably since I saddled my first runner back in November 2015 and that I look back fondly on several fantastic days that we’ve had up to now.
“James Garfield’s Group-race victories at three and two will be the obvious high things, but we have enjoyed a lot of other excellent effects, such as international success in Dubai, Turkey and Qatar.
“We’ve been lucky enough to develop in these four years – therefore the necessity to move to larger premises with excellent facilities.
“The ambition today is to find higher quality horses which may let us advance again. It is a challenge we will be working to produce winners and give the best value and that the staff and I are eager to adopt.
“Over the coming weeks and months I will be occupied at all the major sales hoping to ensure that we build a promising team of horses to our very first full season at Eve Lodge at 2020.”
Also as his new foundation having accessible stabling, it owns a treadmill, two horse-walkers paddocks plus a indoor ride. Eve Lodge also provides comprehensive onsite staff lodging along with a live-in owners’ facility.
